Revision as of 12:12, 4 February 2017
Robby Gordon's program to contest the Dakar Rally with an American team and vehicle began with the 2006 installment of the race. The Hummer H3-style machine is motivated by a rear-mounted 427ci V8 built by Katech Engineering, similar to those found in GM Racing's Corvette GT1 cars[1].
The unique 2WD Hummer would achieve 3rd in class in the 2009 Dakar[2] before its replacement in 2014[3].
