The Colin McRae R4 was conceived by DJM Motorsport and Colin McRae for use in rally, rallycross, circuit racing and ice racing. So far only one prototype exists and is in the possession of the McRae family. Rumour has it that Petter Solberg was to own the first production model that, unfortunately, never came to be[1].

The Colin McRae R4 is a Rally, Rallycross and Trailblazer car in Colin McRae: DiRT 2, which can be purchased for $215,000. The X-Games Special variant is unlocked when X-Games Europe has been won, and is only usable in Rallycross events.
