After his decision to return to rallycross, 2003 World Rally Champion Petter Solberg entered 2013's European Rallycross Championship with his privately built Citroën DS3 Rallycross Supercar. It is powered by a 2-litre turbocharged engine made by Pipo Moteurs capable of reaching the power output of 600bhp and 900Nm of torque. It is also fitted with Cosworth ECUs, UNIC gearbox, Reiger dampers and carbon fibre panels.

With the DS3 Supercar, Solberg became the first World Rallycross Champion in 2014, with 8 podiums and 5 wins and successfully defended his driver's championship in 2015.

Trivia Edit

  • The DS3 seems to be modeled on Hansen Motorsport's DS3 Supercar instead of PSRX's DS3, which is famous for winning the 2012 X Games Rallycross in Los Angeles, driven by Sébastien Loeb.
